In cellular environments with static IP service, the carrier typically only provides the public IP address as part of the service details. The subnet mask and default gateway are assigned dynamically by the carrier when the connection comes up, and they can vary depending on the network configuration. For this reason, the most reliable way to confirm the correct subnet mask and gateway is to first use DHCP and see what values are assigned.
Once the device has obtained the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway via DHCP, you can either leave the Firewall/Router WAN interface in DHCP mode or manually configure the same values statically.
